Did you know that dental care is free for teenagers until you turn 18 years of age?

Children from Year 9 upwards can see a private dentist annually for their dental needs.  Children under Year 9 use their school dental nurse or the Community oral health centres, call 0800 825 583 to book an appointment.

Basic and necessary dental care is provided free under this service.This does not include orthodontic care, tooth whitening or accidents which would normally be covered by ACC.
